Got my decals yesterday. They took a slow trip to cold country before making it to AZ.
Thanks.

I don't display any decals or stickers on my coach unless I am paid to do so...(in other words NONE)!

Curious if you still have Safari decals on there?

I do, but I am not advertizing for anyone because SMC, (Safari Motor Coach), has been defunct since 2002.

BTW, any "Safaris" built since 2002 are actually SOB, (some other brand).... with a Safari name tag.
(See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safari_Motorcoach_Corporation)

,

My father was this way. I remember him buying a 1973 Ford Maverick off the show-floor and he told the dealer to take it off (dealer name) unless they were going to pay him well we all know that would never happen so he removed it in front of the dealer, Boy I thought WW3 was going to start...
I have followed in his foot steps since then, till now and although they will not be stuck to the MH they will be posted with a few others.
I must be getting soft in my old age...
Sorry,
Tim

I personally think ( this is with my member hat on as I was a member long before I was an Admin ) that this thread is discussing the use and placement of the sticker in order to meet other irv2 members. It's not like a Ford or a Chevy emblem that serves as advertising. Some may not care to meet us ;(.

Who would NOT just LOVE to meet an iRV2 member?

Lori-

P.S. Unfortunately, the next owner of our Bounder will get 2 vintage iRV2 decals(the 1st ones iRV2 issued), unless I can figure a way to get them off the windows without damaging them. If I do manage to get them cleanly off, they'll go on the back of a cheap license plate for display like my current one is.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I have not displayed it yet - but ask everyone I meet about iRV2 and am amazed at the number of people that have not heard of it. And once we get to talking it becomes evident. Most have little idea of the coach, systems etc. The iRV2 members I meet are always better informed.

I stuck my decal on the top of heavy beige card stock and print JohnT below it. Then insert it in a plastic sleeve. I hang it off suction cup hangers in the windshield while its parked.
