No, but mine hangs out in the drainage tray of my hisbiscus's pot and aggravates my cats and that's kind of funny...

No toad, no go! We love the freedom of having our own car. We also use it to haul equipment and extra supplies; great little trailer! Now the toad (2009 Pontiac Vibe) has become our main ride when at home.

I guess it totally depends on where you go. We fulltime so that does make a difference, but I couldn't imagine life without the toad. We stay in alot of remote locations and sightsee or drive to hiking locations almost everyday. The toad gives us that freedom.

We went for about a year without a toad, but I must say it now gives me a peaceful feeling knowing that I have a second ride if anything goes wrong. I now tow a 2003 Honda CR-V and love it. This car is made to be a toad. Everything about it just works. Just run through the gears, leave in neutral and release the brake. You can even just look through the window to verify that you have it in neutral and the brake is off.

We are more travelers than campers. We setup in a rv park then travel around and see what we can in the area. Returning to the MH in the evening. After we have seen all we want to see we pack up and move down the road about 400 miles set up and do it again. A toad is a must for us. Our toad is a 2011 HHR, 3150 lbs full of fuel on the CAT scales. It is also my everyday car when home.

Put in that N gear and go. It doesn't care what gears it is in before the N.

If I were to go back to a motorhome and a dinghy, I'd get an inexpensive used car as it will get banged up and chipped while towing.

Jeep. Easy. Designed for it. Heavy, though. We've done a Liberty for 7 years. FIL uses a Chevy S-10 with a drive shaft un coupler.

Yes, we tow. I can't imagine RVing without one...too many interesting roads to discover and rental companies get all upset when you call them to tell 'em WHERE it is...and expensive too! 
If we HAD to give up the Wrangler, I would go with the CR-V. A little extra ground clearance, 4WD available and towable 4 down. I see LOTS of these being towed behind RVs and the few people I've talked with that do tow with them...LOVE 'em!  Bob

Of course you don't NEED a toad but it sure is convenient. We sometimes take a weekend trip without the Jeep Wrangler in tow but always bring it along on longer trips.

Have always had a toad with our motor homes. Started with a '95 Jeep Cherokee and have had a '98 Subaru Outback 5 spd for the last 9 years.
