X2, for me life is fun the way it is, not the way it was. Almost always have something around for our friends however.

I grew up with an alcoholic dad. They say you inherit this. I didn't, but my sister and brother favored drinking. Not that I don't like a drink now and again, but in moderation. In my work, I am on-call every 3rd week for a week and being the senior manager of an emergency company, I'm the back-up in case something fails in our system at any time. Too much responsibility to let er rip!
Holidays-no phone-no driving-no problem, I like to unwind!

No thank you, I face life as it comes, and do not need an alcohol crutch! I have no problem with those who do imbibe, as long as their actions do not affect me. At my age, waking up every morning is my high!
