We have a 6X10' enclosed trailer with Pingle chocks to haul my 87 Softail and her 96 Dyna Wide Glide. The trailer is still nice for not only the bikes but trips to the hardware store and stuff but we went to a car for the MH toad. If it was just a week or weekends it would be different but we go for half the year.

The problems we had were that you have to find a place for the trailer. Even with bags and backpacks trips to the grocery store were tough and rain days were no fun. Do miss the extra storage space in the trailer though.

If you really want to have it all a toy hauler pulling a toad or like Bill2 a MH pulling a P/U with you scooter on the back would be the answer IMHO.

Ride safe.

Looks like we have a few bikers on here. I'm now looking for a DP to go full time. I found a 1999 HR Navigator (beautiful) that has a big bike lift on the back with a blue ox bar to haul a toad as well. Now that's the ticket! All I need to do now is rob the bank that owns it. Be safe...

Now that you bring it up, do any folk out there have experience with either of these lifts:

Hydralift USA

or

The ultimate motorcycle RV transportation system.
