Down and out TV mounting

We just purchased a 2006 Monaco which has the TV up over the front dash. One of the changes we knew we would need to make is to either move the TV to another location or obtain a mount which can drop the tv around 10" when whishing to view it. We have seen a couple models available which would do that. Has anyone had experience with a mount that would do such?

Contact TV for MYRV; they are a site supporter and where able to help me for my mounting needs in our new trailer. Do a search on this site for them or Google them on the internet.

Not sure if this is what your looking for, but I did this in mine.

Installing and upgrading TVs | 2001 Coachmen Mirada 300QB

I used a regular TV swing arm, but instead of mounting it so the TV swings sideways, I mounted it so the TV swings up and down.

Had to snug up the bolts so it was a little harder to move it.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

This is what we did. Maybe it will give you some ideas!

The head-banger is finally GONE!

While you are not mounting above a fireplace, the principal is good for RV's.
