Statistically the majority of RV fires are MH's., of those, the vast majority of MH fires begin in the engine compartment. The usual causes are a fuel leak or exhaust leak.

When we lost our coach to a fire, it started in the refrigerator or the electrical box just below the refrigerator.

In a diesel pusher, there are many flammable fluids in the rear of the coach. Power steering, transmission, diesel fuel. All it takes is a fluid line to spring a leak and a hot exhaust pipe.
