Drawers to shelves?

We have an 01 Minnie Winnie. I have broken the drawer below the oven (again). Yes, it is my fault for putting to many pots and pans in it. I think I could use the the drawer front as the door and frame out the area.

Has anyone converted the drawer to a shelf? If it is possible, I think I would like to do the same with the 2 drawers below the microwave as well.

It is easy. Just remove the drawer front, get some hinges that are a clsoe match to the others in the coach and mount them on the bottom of the door. Use a friction or two magnetic catched on the upper edge. Inside the cabinet, remove the drawer runners and hardware and install any strips that are necessary to keeo things from sliding around. My wife used a wire basket to corral the odds and ends in one RV.
