Driver side or passenger side dinette?
I am wondering what the advantages are of a dinette on the driver side or passenger side?

I would want it on the passenger side because I like to have my breakfast and look out at the lake/park. The parks I frequent have you back in on a slight angel so that the passenger side is more facing toward the lake. All you can see from the driver side is the camp spot next to you.

Just my 2cw
I don't see where it matters, for me. I just want to eat my beanie weenies in peace! If I want a special view I take my bowl of beans and sit outside where I can enjoy the view. Hopefully I won't have to fight off any kids, dogs, bugs or nosey neighbors. I really like boon-docking so I can have some space and enjoy the scenery.

They are the port side and the starboard side, and it does not matter.
But mine is to port

Personally, I like it on the passenger side. The last thing I want to do is be sitting on the side that looks over into the neighbours campsite. I would rather look into my own.

Many like the passenger side better because it's easier to interact with guests under your awning. For my purposes, it really does not matter to me. If you look around at MHs you will find many more it seems with the dinette on the driver's side.

Doesn't matter - and really never thought about it....
The overall floor plan dictates which side it will be on and that's more important to us....
but now that I think about it, all of ours and most of our friends are on the passenger side with the door and awning on that side...

Strictly a matter of preference. Usually the floorplan dictates the side the dinette is on. My Winnebago Adventurer has it on the driver's side and I like it there.

I've also heard it called "Street Side or Curb Side".

We like the dinette on the passenger side because we like looking out the window at our patio. At our lot in Michigan for the summer, the lake is on that side. We had a hard time finding that floor plan. In our search the drivers side was more common.

We have the passenger side now. I like looking at the patio a lot better than looking at the sewer connectioins.
