Only US citizens can register as of now. I'm in Yuma for the winter with my Phantom 2 Vision +. Not sure when it will open up for Canadians or others without a US address.

UAV's

From what I gathered from my latest AMA magazine, they are asking the FAA to hold off on the registration, because all AMA members already have registration numbers. They would like them to use our numbers. That should help alleviate a potential problem of registering our models.

Great video!
Do I see power outlet stations next to each RV parking spot? If so, that would be a great incentive to stay and play a looong time.

This is a problem for us Canadians, especially since the Fun-Fly season starts running shortly. You can pretty-much bet the FAA will show up at the first few big shows.

My next build BTW is a DJI S1000 camera ship.

Yes, Bud, each of the 10 spots has it's own 30 and 50 amp service and it's FREE! That's the good part. The bad part? They closed that casino in favor of a new one that does not have any hookups at all! Drives me nuts. And, no, you can't go there anymore, they have it blocked off. Yeah, it was sweeeet while it lasted.

Thanks Phil,

Gives me a reason to call around to all the local casino's here in northern ky and southern ohio to see if anybody has power stations. If they do, they'll definitely get my business (and money lol)

Yes, I am another Phantom 3 "flying camera" owner. As previously noted, they take incredible video and photos.

Another Phantom 3 Pro owner here, registered and I always fly legal. Since I happen to live within 5 miles of an airport (several, in fact) the only times I seem to get to fly are on our trips with the RV.
