I started camping with an off-road motorcycle and a tent. We trucked in to where we camped and drug big overnight logs to the campsite.

I have a 6 gal water heater. I can take a 25 minute shower. You just have to learn how to work your pressure. I am also fixin to buy a oxygenic shower head soon, so i think the pressure will be better with same amount of water that i currently use.

Guess I could 'time' it, but I use about 5 gal of hot every morning, as hot as I can stand it. I wash my hair and body, and still have some 'relaxing' time too.

I don't know what brand shower head I have, but it has outer, dribble, inner, dribble and both. The holes are tiny rubber nipples, so there is little chance of corrosion or calcium build up. Also, for my fresh water, I fill it with soft water from the house.

The hotter you can stand it, the warmer you are going to be when you get out after you dry off.

Here's a shade attached to the screen door that some ( Sarah and Dunner , I think ) were looking to do. It was on a few different models at the Super Show.

There wasn't any name on them.

Kinda, sorta. Mine is the hollow wooden dowel type that hangs on hooks that I think have a slotted and round hole. I'm thinking that if I cut and re-pinned the dowel, I could move the hooks to the inside of the screen door.

What? Do you have one of those penny miser, water saving heads that spray a mist? I like shower head that flow some water.

CorLynn and Sarah are talking about the ones that go off before or without even having an accident.

Thanks for the shower feedback.

We prefer to not haul water. It's heavy. And in a B van, the shower usually is tiny and messy. In a C or A, I could see trying to use the shower in the MH if it's big enough and the vehicle can handle the weight of the water. Of course, if you're a parker instead of a traveler like us, the water weight isn't that important.

Somebody added one of these next to the step and when folded, it halfway blocks the water heater exhaust vent. I'm not old enough to use it, so it stays folded against the side of the MH. It's slightly scorched, but not blistered.
