Pigman1,
The screen problem sounds like something I would have fixed in about 2 minutes.

This all reminds me of a definition I heard a long time ago - the purpose of the Design Engineer is to make life difficult for the Assembler, and impossible for the Repairman.

The new (2012) Itasca Navion we were interested in has a cab-over bunk and a sofa/air bed. When the sofa sleeper is out, it is in the way of the ladder to get to the cab-over bunk! DUH!!!!

Our Bounder has a pull-down shade mounted on the wall above the door. If the shade is down, you can't go through the door. DUH. Why didn't they attach a smaller shade directly ON the door? Also, the bathroom outlet is mounted too close to a trim piece and there is no way to use a hairdryer or other appliance that has one of those large GFCI plugs.
We also have one of those "special offset" sewer connections.

I fixed it in about 10 minutes. The point was that it's a STUPID design. Design, not assembly error, because the ignition bus was clearly labeled for the shades.

I found an aftermarket fuse block under the dash cover that only had one or two ports used. Very useful.

Looking forward to seeing how you guys get that shade between the two doors. There's not enough room on mine, but I wish you good luck.

If I move mine, it will be mounted on the inside of the screen door.

Here's what I did mine http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/entr...ade-88321.html . It's not in a different place but it's much better that the spring type. See post #7.
