duo-therm 5 button control center

My ac works fine but lost the zone 2. Duo-therm 5 button shows only zone 1 now. I'm not sure when or what changed but both units still heat and cool but I can't control the zones.
Going to try the factory reset again and check connections to see if this helps.

Additionally, your first AC has a row of mini switches that indicate whether you have multiple AC units. You could cycle these switches in case one of them has gotten dirty and causes the problem.

Have a nice day - Darrel

Where would I find these switches?
I tried the reset and that didn't work. Also cleaned the cable connection and that didn't help.

Just a couple of suggestions. First, when I had florescent lights in the MH, I found that if any were on that the 5-button CCC would not reset properly. Turn off ALL florescents before reset!

As you probably know, the thermostat communicates with the A/C's over a telephone-type cable and plugs. Over time the contacts on the plugs can develop a poor connection. Plugging and unplugging them several times will usually correct that!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Joe has a good point. The contacts can be cleaned with a pencil eraser.

Well I cleaned the connector good and still only shows zone 1.
Zone 1 flashes but you can’t get it to change over to zone 2.

The programming mini switches are on the first AC. The AC cover has to be removed to gain access. (The 4wire cable connections are in there also.)

Have a nice day - Darrel
