Duotherm 5 Button Thermostats

Hope I'm on the right track here. My rear A/C stayed on today. Shuts off with a mode change or the on off switch, but not by temp setting. It's a 2004 dometic AC/Heat pump with a fan and furnace setting in the thermostat. I'm guessing the thermistor? Is there any other controls that could cause this symptom? Appears to be another remote thermistor mounted next to the rear tv in the slide.

Problem with duotherm rear ac

Ok, some more info, the rear ac also would not switch to heat pump. Also the aquahot wouldn't turn on as a furnace until I fired the diesel switch. Nornally it would heat the coach with the 120volt on, albeit not for very long.

Have you done the factory reset on the 5-button thermostat?

Pulled the capacitors could have sworn one checked open, the run capacitor. Ordered all four for both acs as they are cheap. Checked it again, i did drop it once, and it checked good. Put it back together and it's running. I won't shut it down until it cools off outside to see if the problem persists. I also unplugged the two phone cables and reconnected, also pulled the three amp fuse and reinstalled.
