DW Sleeping While I Drive
Off the wall question, I did some searches but didn't come up with anything....
Does anyone here have someone sleeping in the bedroom area while driving? I'm a morning person and my DW isn't......

I usually ask her to do her sleeping belted into the passenger seat. That being said, there have been a few times that she was ill, and stayed in bed while I go up front and drive.

Our passenger seat reclined and it had a seatbelt. That's where napping was done.
I hope when she wakes up she relieves you at the wheel.

Yes, sometimes my wife is sleeping, sometimes cooking, other times working on the computer, watching TV, or crafting. In short, doing anything but sitting in the passenger seat.

My wife usually stays up real late the night before a trip getting every thing ready for our family of six so she's pretty tired when we hit the road. So yes she goes in the back and sleeps for a while and I drive.

When we had a motorhome, DW occasionally got up while we were driving to go to the bathroom or to get our lunch out of the fridge, but she did all her napping, computing and crocheting while seat-belted into the passenger seat.

My DW NEEDS to be strapped in, the way I drive !
Besides, who would screem out the window, at the jerks on the road. (She's from Brooklyn.)

I stay up front while DH is driving unless I'm making him a sandwich, however, if I'm driving, he will go back to the bedroom and nap. I think he should be helping me navigate. Maybe why he can't get me to drive very often.

DW can not help it but the sensation of moving puts her right to sleep. We usually have kids sleeping in the back and DW naps with seat reclined back, foot rest up like she is ready to lauch right out of the front glass. Glad she wears a belt. I can not bring my self to have DW drive yet.We have had class A for 5 years 4 with 40 ft gasser and 1 with 40 ft DP. We had TT for 10 years but getting closer to having her drive with DP.

My better half stays up front and eventually falls asleep in her chair. This is always welcome as it is the only time she is not staring at the mailboxes she is sure we are just about to take out or at the bridge we are about to hit with our AC's
