Electric Steps Motor broken

Our Newmar 98 Mt. Aire gasser has mid-coach outside steps. As I was having the steps descend I heard a bang and then the steps just went loose. Looking underneath I discover that the metal part that rotates to bring the steps in and out has broken in half. Does anyone know what that is called, a part # or where to find a replacement? I'll try Tweetys first but I don't know what to call it other than "electric steps motor". Thanks!

I sure they are kwikee steps someone will post are part number but it's a power window motor which can be bought a lot cheaper than a step motor.

http://www.rvweb.net/tech_lib/Quickee.html This may help. The section on motor assembly removal gives a parts breakdown.

I'd say you're going to need this:

about parts

My tech guy has the parts. I promised my wife never to work on the RV because it makes us both a nervous wreck. I should have this fixed early next week. Thanks for your help. It's tricky getting the RIGHT part and your clues were invaluable. Ray, if something goes south I'll post in this thread and have you look through your parts.
