If it were me I guess I would look into it and if you don't feel comfortable with your skills, hire someone who is.

Electricity is not something I consider fun.

A temporary fix is to run a wire from the skin-and frame of the RV to a ground rod, only until the cause of this condition is properly repaired. The cause may not be your cord, but instead the CG supply. Your electrician will test everything, or should.
