Elephant Chair

This is an open note to the person/persons unknown who, at the 2011 IRV2.com Rally around the campfire, wanted to know what elephant sets in that chair, let me help you out, then answer the question.

As I understand the facts, you didn't bring a rig to the rally. So, you either flew or drove in. If you would be so kind to advise me of the home your doctor gave you permission to leave, I will call him/her and ask them to cut your medication in half so you don't personally attack people behind their back.

When I signed up for the rally, I didn't see anything about girth size. If you have a problem with my size, I'll be more then happy not to attend any more rallies. Just let me know which ones you will be at.

By the way, I'm the elephant. Anytime you want to talk about this, one on one, just let me know.

By the way, my wife, who isn't exactly small, has Multiple Sclerosis. Go ahead, make fun of her. It won't bother me to go back to jail.

Respectfully,
Rick Bond, THE Grumpytrucker.

My wife and I had a great time at the rally. We meet some great new people, seen some wonderful sites, all stuff we would of never done if IRV2 didn't have the rally. The river cruise was very very interestion, and Big Bam Boom was great. Sad I knew most of the songs. Yep, I'm old. I'm hoping that wife of Grumpy and I get an invite to next years rally. No telling what neat stuff we will see, or new people we will meet. I guess I will just have to sharpen up on my truckers language.

Regards,

Almost bought one of these chairs, but the $100 price tag was a bit much. No one else we camp with has one though...Three average sized ppl can sit in it with no problem.

Frank and I are counting on you to be at the next rally. We had such a good time with you and Donna. It's a shame people can be so unkind when they don't know what they are talking about. We consider ourselves blessed to have you and Donna as friends now. By the way, Happy Birthday Donna! Sorry we couldn't stay the extra night.

There is no know cure for ignorance, and it spreads. Just hang around some ignorant folks and before long you start making dumb statements. The only way to protect yourself is to stay away, far away from them. They always do something that requires an even more ignorant response. Steer clear of them and eventually they die of because they don't have decent folks to feed on

Only if all 3 weigh in less then 134 lbs.
The average man weights more then that.

Yes....My wife has Multiple Sclerosis, and I'm 6 foot and 280 pounds. I bought these extra wide chairs for when my wife isn't using her scooter, she can get in and out of these chairs easier then regular folding chairs. Somebody seen the chair while I was not there and wanted to know what elephant uses that chair. So, I was guessing that either persons with girth, or handicap are not allowed at the rallies.

I have, however, been ordered by Frank and Brenda to attend the next rally, and I don't want to make Frank or Brenda mad....so, I'll just make sure I got a couple of C notes in the wallet, for bail money, and attend the rally.

Don't feel bad, Grumpy. You are in good company. One of the reasons I rarely go to the beach is that when I lay on the shore trying to get a tan, people rush over and try to push me back in the water. They think I'm a beached whale...
