EMS (Surge Protector) Table

It is often desirable to show data in table form, but that is difficult to do on this forum because of the limitation of the formatting options. I have been given instructions about how to do it, and the main purpose of this threat is to see if I have mastered it.

But to be useful, if it works, I have created a table comparing the specifications of the 50 amp, hard wire EMS units from Progressive Industries and Surge Guard. The information came from the spec sheets of each manufacturer. There are some differences and they may, or may not, be of interest to you.

Your chart is great and covers the important features that are needed. I debated over the 2 most popular makers and thought hard about hard wired and portable. I feared the portables might be stolen even with their locks, so opted for the hard wired model. After my self install, It was obvious I made the right dicission. Very simple install. My unit has a remote display that I mounted inside. I really like that feature . I credit this and another forum for bring the need to light, for me. With all the electronics in todays RVs, the cost of the unit was half of what my deductable would be if I had to claim it, not to mention alll the trouble and hastle to get everything fixed. Thanks for posting the chart, comparisons help make better decisions.
