Besides being a camper, I am a campground owner. Our water comes from an artesian well and is quite good. It is what we drink ourselves. But, as mentioned before, we are required to have it tested monthly while we are open. These are Federal regulations. We are what they consider a Non-public community water system and are strictly regulated. If we should fail a test there are strict protcols for what happens. In 31 years, that has never happened to us so I can't really tell you what they do if you fail and I hope it never happens to us. Knowing what we go through, I have no problem drinking the water provided by campgrounds when we are camping.

We use the Camco blue in-line filter outside and a high-quality filter under the sink with separate faucet for all consumption. Works for us!
