I want to power my outside TV off of the inverter. It has a 19.5v DC power cord to it now from shore power. This, and the generator, are the only means for power. My inverter sits right under the tv in a outside compartment.
Two questions...
how could I tap into the inverter to get 120v so I can attach a 19.5 power supply to get the power needed?
also, I don't want to run this tv only on the inverter. When connected to shore power, I'd like to power it from that source.
any assistance would be appreciated.

Your rig should have a 120VAC outlet in one of the storage bays for that purpose. This outlet would normally be powered both from shore power and from the inverter.
