Wouldn't be a very fun trip if I drove every day.
Sometimes we drive 75 miles and stay for several days. Sometimes for a week or so.
We use one credit card while on a trip so we have a pretty good idea of what we spend and it will usually average out to a $100 a day.
For sure some days are very expensive and some days are very cheap. It all balances out.
