Equal-i-zer versus Reese dual cam

I need to purchase weight distr/sway control. After much research I hear most recommendations are for the Equal-i-zer or Reese dual cam (of course the Hensley always comes up but it's too rich for my blood).

I'm looking for opinions on why to take one over the other.

Dual cam prevents sway from starting where as friction type sway control devices help control sway after it has started.

Reese Dual Cam has been around a few years and the HP is a great performer for the $$$$..Ken

We have been using the Reese Dual Cam set up for 3 or 4 years. It was easy to install and works well. Much less sway concerns than with the friction plate. I put it on myself in less than a hour.

It is the bolt mounted version of the Dual Cam...Strait-line.
