We are seriously considering trading our 5ver and CTD tow vehicle for a 05 Winnebago Voyager and will be looking for a good ERS. We have had Good Sam in the past but will also looking at Coach Net. Any opinions from members would be appreciated...........

Have used Good Sam 3 times in the last ten years with good results, no experience with any of the others.

I blew a tire in Atlanta and after waiting over three hours for road service with GS changed the tire my self and it was another hour after I was back on the road the tow service called asking if I had fixed the tire. The reason I dropped the GSERS was I was on hold for 45 minuites with them and they would not send another towing service. I just wish they would stop sending me mail for their GSERS. I now have AAA with RV and in some states I may have to pay for the service and get my money back from the North Carolina charter.

I presently have Good Sam and am glad I have it. Originally went with them on the MH not figuring to use it for other vehicles. I had AAA and figured it would cover the other rolling stock. When my son brought my classic car to SC he had a flat on I95, picked up a screw in the rear tire. He called me, I called AAA, went thru the check list with the guy on the phone and the last thing he said to me was I with the car. When I said no he told me they would not service as I as the card holder was not present.
So I figured to call GS, they were very nice and actually had a service truck to the car in 35 minutes.
You can guess what I did with AAA
After GS got the car back on the road with the spare my son made 10 miles and it blew, called GS again and they told me it was repaired, then told them the spare blew and they sent the same guy back and he was there in 20 minutes, this time towed to a tire store.
Moral I like GS, dumped AAA and feel better for it and have coverage on all my vehicles.
I have no history with Coach Net, only from friends who have it so I cannot comment

I have Coach-Net and couldn't be happier with it. Used it a total of three times. Twice on an older class C and once for our car. Service was quick and professional, they properly assessed the situation and found a service truck capable of handling the problem. True sign and drive service. A word of caution; make sure whatever you get is designed for RV's, with no limits on towing. An RV added to an auto road service policy will likely have some seriously low limits. Towing a large RV can be very expensive. Both Coach-Net and GS are RV policies that extend to your cars also.

I've had both and got good service from both at one time or another. I have chosen Coach-Net for my ongoing needs because I think they give a bit more service (e.g. the telephone tech support) and are extremely good about calling back to check on progress, finding somebody who can provide whatever extra parts or services you may need, and sticking with you until your problem is solved. They really go the extra mile.

Our coverage comes up for renewal in March and it will be Coach-Net again.

I had Good Sam and they were ok the one time I used them however their renewal rate is a bit higher then CoachNet. Believe I will give CoachNet a (1) yr trial. Thanks for everyone's input.
