Escape Window Latch - How to Secure it?

Just curious if anyone has found a way to secure the escape window latch handle from the inside? We like to open the bedroom window, but the latch handle is "right there" with only the screen keeping someone from getting in! Obviously, it needs to be removable in case of an emergency. Since we would be inside for that to happen, I could simply "un-secure" the latch. The 2nd one at the other end isn't as critical.
Thanks for any thoughts/help!

Better to leave it alone, IMO. When it's needed panic and adrenaline can cause a "solution" to jam up.

No trailer is really that hard to get into is the single consolation.

Thanks Rednax.... appreciate the IMO..... nothing personal, but I had a "keyed" deadbolt on my stick and brick for 25+ years - window was right next to the latch!!! We all knew where the key was - low and easy to get to... same idea here... just want to be able to open the window from the inside with some quick and easy extra "latch" so I can sleep safely at night.... we love fresh air, hate to have the AC on... As it is, way to easy to slip the red handle up and get inside in about 2 seconds!
