Escapees?

What are your opinions on joining Escapees? I joined today at the anniversary rate of $29.95, figuring I couldn't lose at that rate! A CG that we frequently use in Vidalia, LA gives a 15% discount so I think that alone will pay for my membership.

I understand that the Escapees CG discounts range from 15 to 50 percent. What has been your experience with this?

Do you us any of the other benefits? Thanks!

Joe, like all "Clubs" it's what benefits can you use. Escapees doesn't give us many benefits, so we haven't joined. I am contemplating not renewing FMCA for the same reason, I no longer use their services.

We like the Escapees. We've been members for about six months. They have some great RV parks around the country and we can get discounts at other parks. Mostly, I find their Days End Directory to be well worth the cost pf mrmbership. For example, today we're in a free site in a cool town right on the Willapa River in western Washington. Without the guide, we would never have found this free RV site (no hook-ups). In fact, we drove through here last year and passed it without even knowing free overnight RV parking was a block away.

Here is the direct website for it. The Day's End Directory and yes you must be an Escapees member to access it.

Having an Escapee membership is one of the best things we have done. The perks are great, the folks are even better!

Howdy!

We've been members of Escapees for years even before going fulltime. It is a great organization that we enjoy and make use of they're benefits. Last year we took advantage and became Escapees Life Members. For those interrested Escapees also offers a veterans discount.

We have been members for 20 years. We have used their mail forwarding service while full-timing, and enjoy visiting our favorite Escapees' park in Alabama. E-mail me if you would like more info.
