Is this a narmal price for this stuff?? And is this the genuine article??
4" White Eternabond Tape | eBay
And I was slightly confused by:
" Eterabond Details: - Sticks to all types of roofs: EPDM, metal roofs, roof flashings, RV roofs
- Stops leaks in pools, gutters, showers, PVC pipes, buried pipes
- UV Stable
- Can even be applied to surfaces submerged underwater
- Can be applied in temps down to -20 degrees F
eternabond Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and dry. Moisture, dust, dirt, or other foreign matter should be removed. Remove oil and grease, etc. with EternaClean or a non residue cleaner such as acetone or lacquer thinner. Remove salt and other contaminants"
Under water or clean and dry?? can something be both those at the same time??
"

ETERNABOND ROOFSEAL WHITE 4" X 50' ROLL
Building Supply Plus: Store Home
Generally you can do better on pricing at roofing/building supply places on the internet.
The white Eternabond roof tape is part number RSW-4-50 for the 4" wide x 50' roll.

I bought this 50' roll last week from Amazon as stated above. Arrived yesterday, I did not have time to open the package. I got home from work at midnight & back in at 6 this morning.
Not sure if this can actually be applied underwater or can be applied to surfaces that are to be submerged underwater. The original use for this was for underwater pipelines.

I bought the 4x50 roll the other day at a local roofing supply and paid $48 +tax. I'd look to the roofing stores in your area. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Where ever you get it, Eternabond is wonderful stuff. Bought it to seal around a new roof vent. Then I used it around chimney on the house to solve an emergency leak. Later tried to remove it to reinstall a darker color and found it was absolutely impossible to remove from the brick or shingles! Decided this was a good thing and just painted it black. It's been there 5 years and is still stuck down tight. Much better than the flashing roofers normally use.
