Back in 1959 and 1960, radio DJ's would take song dedications on the radio. So my girlfriend and I would call in dedications a LOT. We made up names, instead of our own. She chose Constance and I was Pogo. A lot of teens we knew listened to the same station and wondered who those 2 were, but we never revealed it.
(The DJ would say dedicated to Constance from Pogo, or to Pogo from Constance)

I am an avid model airplane flyer and my bride and I share an interest in our dog 'Trix' (beagle). Nothing like going out doing some huntin and bayin with Trix.

Because I love fishing, especially trout on the fly, and will doggedly go after my quarry until I get the fish I want.

Mine is short for Lady Fitzgerald (it wouldn't fit in the allotted space) which is my stage name at the Renaissance Festivals I work.

I love books, I collect them. I love everything about them, especially old ones. Thus the name.

I had a great time growing up in the 50s and 60s in the small town of Sequim, WA on the Olympic Peninsula.
So when I had to come up with a name for this site, I knew we would be traveling back there, so............
Usually use my Viet Nam radio callsign but decided on something different this time.

Vern.
