During the great depression in Australia What we called hobos were referred to as Sundowners. The term means that one's home is where one is when the sun goes down. A delightful movie was made about a family of "Sundowners"

Here is a Sundowner camping in the 1930s.

We decided that since our home is where we are when the sun goes down. We would be "The Sundowners".

UNDRPSI was the license plate on my SVT Lightning pickup. Its was factory supercharged so I thought it fit. UNDRPSI stands for under PSI (pressure). Now with my new Duramax, and it's turbo charged, I think I'll just slide it on over to the new truck.

Then why did you click on the thread when the content was so clearly marked? Long winter? LOL

I think this is an interesting thread, as I often see usernames and wonder where they came from.

Apparently 22 pages so far care about it enough to reply...
And even from all times of the year, not just winter...

Used to fly the DeHavilland Dash 8 for a living before changing careers, hence my username.

Not very creative but the user name is my initials and my birth year.

If I could change it I would be 62inrightlane.

muddypaws

I've been explaining my username in my sig for a long time.

I believe that our older golden retriever could find a puddle in Death Valley in July. It's her middle name.
