I usually use a contraction of my first name and last initial, but that was taken so I used my call sign from '70-'71.

I got the name roadmap from our camping friends because I seem to always get us lost.Never fells,I seem to be looking at the scenery when I should be watching GPS,my husband just laughs and tells them we took the scenic route...lol

I got the name Gadget as a rookie cop with NYPD way back in 1984. I always seemed to have the latest electronic toys and the name stuck. The 63 was the last precinct I worked in.
