Name came from song " Free Bird" by Lynard Skinner Band, used it first on my airplane, then on my boats, always reminds me of the movie " Jonathon Livingston Seagull also. At one time was in a country music band in Up-State New York, and we were the only country band I know of to play Lynard Skinner.

We have an Airstream and are big Georgia Bulldawg fans. Hairy Dawg is the costumed mascot for the Dawgs.....hence Air E Dawg!

I'm Aubrey the DW is Debbie. It's a play on the celebrity names.
When my son Sam is with us we are Samdebrey pronounced samdebris.
Crockett the thorough bread miniature jackass is a mixed breed 10 month old who likes to eat my socks and put a 4 inch square hole in my favorite rug I brought home from my last deployment to the middle east.

Our motor home a 1984 and it is ....well....old. From the outside it looks like a beater (a slang term to describe a well used vehicle) and it is a Winnebago. Winne-beater. The inside resembles nothing from 1984 though. We call the exterior our theft-deterrent.

The very rural area we live in has always been called Terrapin Hill because of the massive amount of terrapins on the roads in the spring. Being SOUTHERN IL it often gets pronounced "tarpin". I am a locomotive engineer on the railroad. So when we bought the ground & built the house we dubbed it "TarpinHill Junction".

Is there a group for shellbacks? I've got the bluenose too.
We could initiate people.

Monroe Silk

While I was on active duty in the Navy flying F-14s, my call sign was 'Silk'.
Now that I am retired and living in Monroe, my wife just combined location with call sign.
