Gank. It was my mothers fathers nickname. He got it in ww1. He was in the blues royal cav.

When I started to ride motorcycles I was told I needed a road name. As I ride with mostly veterans. I adopted his nickname to honor his memory and military service

During my military service I went by Sir or ( insert rank here). So I did not have one.

My mother was very touched. I feel proud wearing his name on my vest close to my heart He was a very kind and gentle man. I wish I could have spoken more with him about his service

Back in early days of email I decided to use emp's initials in front of title or position in co. as individuals email address. Just kept using ctpres when I retired.
