That was my 1990 Mercedes Benz 300ce. It was a beautiful 2-door coupe. It hauled [moderator edit]and even handled the mtn roads better than my previous car, which was a souped-up 1989 Toyota Supra sports car.

I personally think Timmy is a very masculine name! Especially in AR!

I can't remember posting in this thread so after all these years I thought it was time.

Most of my adult life since I was 18 I was in the petroleum business until I retired in 2007. I chose the name Petro short for petroleum. It was not until later that I realized there was a truck stop chain with the name Petro but by that time I did not want to change my name. There is no connection of my user name to the truck stop chain with the same name.

Don

I was an OTR truck driver at Harley Davidson for several years. Employee"s often refer to Harley as the "motor company", hence MoCo and my given name Tom

When I ruptured my Achilles playing basketball at 55 I decided it was time to quit doing the quick-change-direction sports and try something different. A few friends were getting into the triathlon craze so I thought why not?! I mean it's the three things we used to do when we were kids, right? Swim, bike and run!

So I started doing a few smaller triathlons and pretty soon I was REALLY getting into it by doing more and more races so the guys at work coined the phrase, "TriMoot". Tri for the triathlons and the first 4 letters of my last name.

What's funny is I signed up for one race using my 1st name as Tri and the last as Moot and when I came across the finish line they called out my name, "And here comes TriMoot from Spokane!" I LOVED IT! So it's kind of stuck.

I didn't realize how many former military/ LEO people were on this forum. You guys are great Americans and thanks for everything you do.

RangeMaggotBob: back in the '70s I was a wrangler for a sheep-shearing crew that wandered the Utah/Nevada desert in the summer shearing sheep. A range maggot is a sheep. I was Bob. Thusly....RangeMaggotBob!

Pro fly fishing

Yep, fly fishing. Owned a sporting lodge on Northern California’s Trinity river (a major tributary to the Klamath river. Guided and taught fly fishing for decades. Hence “trinityfly”. Also retired LEO.
