Happy accident.

I became a teacher as a second career and in my first year of teaching, one of my students decided to call me Ice T - not sure if it was that I reminded her of the TV actor or whether it was my chilling personality. (My last name is Thomas and many kids call me Mr. T). So I kept the IceT but needed it to be more formal, so it became MrIceT. When trying to use this once as an email address, low and behold it was already used. So I added my birthday (Oct 5th) to the end - thus became mricet1005.

My DW, who can be grammar nut says it can't be Ice T but needs to be Iced T - but I tell her I am not a drink and that is not what the student who originated it used!
