An obsolete electromechanical telephone switch that I cut my teeth on 50 years ago. I have been using it for years hoping someone else knew what it was. Hasn't happened yet!

RGVTEXAN I am a Winter Texan in the RGV. Not a native but lived in Arlington in the late 40s and Stationed at Ft Bliss in the 60s. Winter in the RGV since 05. My Parents lived in Austin in the 70s, so I have a good deal of time in TX.

The D C is Damage Control Dan. While in the Navy in my first enlistment I was a Damage Control Petty officer. Witch stuck with me, my fellow sailors would call me DC Also my initials Are DC, go figure. Others would just call me Damage.

Comes from shooting real muzzle loaders, not those infernal abominations you always see on the hunting shows. The frizzen is the part of the flintlock that the flint hits to make the sparks.
