Skip ; because it's been my nickname since before I was christened , thanks sis.
426, because that's what I drove in my " wild and crazy " days , and Skip and Skip 1,2,3, were taken.
Considered St.Hemi , but thought to many would read it as Saint Hemi, instead of Street Hemi, and think I was a snob.

What a fun thread to read. My user name was chosen to inspire confidence that there are professionals here. Not that my fellow RV’ers don’t have good and accurate answers, truly I have read many great posts. But some replies I read are based on what I affectionately call “campfire talk”. Someone heard something and then passes it on with their (mis)interpretation.

I’m a Professional with a speciality in Batteries (BatteryPro). Though my involvement started in the ’70’s, since 2001 I’ve been in the renewable energy business designing, installing and servicing AC and DC power systems for RV's. Our newest venture is installing Lithium Ion batteries. I also design off grid power systems with customers in Mexico and Canada and a few in the US.

Happy Trails!

I was a member of the Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club and was called "Gunner" because I carried the M60 machine with 1st Recon, A Company USMC.
So my roadname was "Gunner" and the NK stands for Nam Knight.

Darcan: not very original but my husband's name is Darrell and my name is Candice. This is also the license plate on our "bus". Honk or wave if you see us on the road.

If you aren't the 77th "Smitty" to register the name or similar circumstances, then it appears more 'splainin may be in order........
