ThinBlueLine = 27 years in law enforcement. Happily retired, and no, I don't miss it at all.

Back in the day I use to build and tune turbo charged vehicles, a lot more then I do now. When somone wanted to make their project faster and as my favorite power adder is a turbo, the term "its boostable" was born. Little did I know years later when the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds" came out they used the term "boostable" as a way of referring to a cars ability to be stolen! But I swear I don't like stealing cars.. LOL I have used it on forum's for as long as I can remember and if you see it on another forum chances are it's me.

Mine comes from one of my hobbies and passions, Railroading. EMD stands for the Electro Motive Division of General Motors (now an independent company) and F9A is one of their classic first generation diesel locomotives. Think of the Santa Fe red and silver Warbonet passenger trains or in my case the two tone green of the Northern Pacific.

My father was a Dr. - working in a gas station the owner started calling me Doc - later in life I built and operated a marina so it became docsdock.
