We started out tent camping, evolved to a pop up and now to a class A motor home. We wanted to included fur faced feline who PURRs nonstop. Thus KAMPURR. Our last name starts with a "K"

I think this is the only thread I've read, from front to back...
In preparation for buying our first RV, I read hundreds of entries by iRV2 members.
Gradually, it dawned that so many were newbies like us!
Hence, the name. No longer applicable, now that I'm on my second MH, have made nearly 1,000 entries here and at FMCA, but too lazy to change.
We really need to limit the number of pilots here: we're like the cockroaches of the RV world; prolific and difficult to control Me? USAF KC-135As, at the airline 727/ 757, 767, 777. Currently still hammering away between RV trips with lawyer wife, 777 to Asia.

Really fun thread!
Did a quick sign-up so I could read the forum, just using my first name. Then I got hooked and never changed it!

LarrytheBear…. Sometimes I’m grumpy as a…. sometimes I’m sleepy as a…. sometimes I’m hungry as a…. but I’m always hairy as a bear.
Its a nickname from way back.
I've been called worse.

First name, last initial. The underscore? Because the forum software wouldn't let me use a space. I know, not very imaginative. That's just the kind of mood I was in that day.

Snownomore
I picked the name because it's what we are hoping to accomplish by going full time....escaping the cold and snow. If I never see another flake after this coming winter, I shall be a happy camper.

Years ago the rural area we live in always had an abundance of turtles in the spring. The would be all over the country roads, so this area got the name of Terrapin Hill and with the accent of most around here is soon became Tarpin Hill. Since I was a railroader when we built our home (now retired), we called our place TarpinHill Junction.

K9Piper
K9 from what I did for a living . Started training canines for attack, explosives and narcotics in the US Air Force. After my enlistment I went into Law Enforcement (Federal) and did the same thing for 30 plus years. In 1994 I started playing the bagpipes (which I still do) that is where the piping comes in. So K(= canines and piper + bagpipes ...together it comes about to K9Piper...now I'm done as I retired in 2006 and I'm still doing both but the K9 part is no longer attack, explosives and narcotics of law enforcement.
The canine part is now working and training Therapy Dogs. I love taking them to schools and hospitals, for children and the elderly but It's a honor taking them to the Veteran Hospitals! Dogs are perfect in every way and we spell it Dog...keep in mind God is also perfect in every way and we spell it God... same letters just moved around both are perfect in every way.

Though I live in Alabama and go by the name Bamaman, I'm really a Tennessean from birth and most of my adult life. But I'm certainly not a Big Orange fan.
But Tennesseanman is just too long a name.
