Hi folks, I have a 2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and am looking for a Extend -a-stay kit for my propane tank. I have seen quite a few online but none seem to match my fitting. I have a horizontal tank and the fitting I have has two wire attached to one end, that is what is confusing me. Will the standard kit fit or do I need a different fitting for these wires.
Or perhaps I should add another permanent tank. I'm off the grid a good part of the time. Thanks.....Tim

I am sure you are confused since there are no wiring on propane gas lines. You may be thinking of the gage remote sensor wiring that shows the level of fuel in the tank. Post a photo of the gas line connection to the valve on the tank, so we can be of better help.

You may also be seeing an electric gas shutoff valve. They are part of a safety system.

A picture will help us answer your question.

The extend a stay will go in line before the regulator. This may require removing the plasic cover from the regulator and modifying it to fit by cutting the plastic or just leaving it off.

Ditto on what others have said about a photo. The Extend-A-Stay typically goes right into the valve before the regulator. Extend-A-Stay is made by Marshall Brass, and there is a similar setup from Mr. Heater called Stay-A-While. The photo below shows the Stay-A-While on the motorhome we used to have.
