Extended RV Warranty plans?

Hi,

I am looking for a new RV extended Warranty plan and need some suggestions. I presently have Good Sam CSP but may drop them if they don't shape up.

I have a list of companies and was looking at Easy Care warranty. Anyone use them? Please advise.

Thanks.

As long as you remember that they are NOT a "warranty", you can guarantee that you'll get your money all back, and the company won't go out of business I suppose they're OK.
BUT since no one can make that guarantee I'd pass, as several of the consumer groups say to.
Take the money and put it in the bank, if you don't use it you still have it, if you do use it, then you have it to use. There are lots of horror stories about the policy holder going out of business, but if you rolled it into your contract you're stuck paying for it. Then there's the "fine print": "If a non-covered part damages a covered part, then neither is covered. Gasket fails, engine/transmission goes out due to lack of lubrication, sorry, seals and gaskets aren't covered so neither is the engine repair. One person had a transmission failure, the policy holder asked for his maintenance records and found that he went 700 miles past his oil change time, they denied the claim citing failure to maintain his maintenance.
Just too many "gotchas" in the contracts.

I have InterState Star and I have used it 4 times with good results. I believe the shop you use determines how much success you have with claims.
