We are in the process of purchasing our first RV, a 2008 Allegro Bus. We are looking into extended warranties and wondered if anyone had experiences good or bad with any particular company. The dealer recommends Cornerstone (not cheap). Extendedwarranties.com uses First Extended Service Corporation. Any comments would be appreciated.

Welcome to irv2. There are many threads here on this. I had Cornerstone but never used it . I would contact Wholesale Warranties for a quote on Cornerstone and other co's which will be much lower than your dealer.

Shop around online and then ask your dealer if they can match it both in coverage and price. If they can you get the added benefit of the dealer being familiar with dealing with that warranty company when something does go wrong. A smart dealer will want your business even if the profit margin is thin. It keeps you coming back to their service department.
