Red face Extended warranties on used mh

Any info on how expensive they can be and what things can be excluded in terms of saving?

Thanks for any advice

Kind of depends on what type of MH you are considering--big difference on Class C up to a 43' Class A. I would not have a newer MH without an extended warranty, but you need to do your research about which ones to consider--know some people with a GS/CW warranty and it has worked well for them on an '08 Winnebago Tour. There are details to get clear BEFORE getting any work done or you will be out some $$ due to not working the system for claims, and you have to know whether it is a coach or chassis problem to know where to take it.
I have read that an "Exclusionary" policy is better than and "Inclusionary" policy, as the Exclusionary says what ISN'T covered. Inclusionary leaves too much wiggle room for denial of claims.

Have exclusionary policy from Wholesale Warranties on our 2004 Itasca Horizon 40AD. Had to have it inspected and take it on a test drive for the inspector. Price varies widely by miles, age , and level of coverage. Happy so far. Was very unhappy with National General—CW

In 2015 a fairly good one was about $9000 on our 45' Country Coach. As I remember it would have been a 4 yr contract.
Too bad they paperwork didn't arrive till after the engine blew up. Too late by then.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I've never been a believer on extended warranties so can't really help! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
