I don't, but also doubt if any "track record" is relevant. They and the others in that business are insurers and they pay off on all valid claims, so have a track record. The problem with most such service plans is that they cover far less than buyers think, so there are numerous gripes about the company and their agents when the real problem is failure to read and understand the plan coverage documents before buying. That's not fraud or a track record problem.



You can be very confident that Protech's claims adjusters will rigorously enforce every clause of the contract and not give you the benefit of the doubt on anything. One of those clauses will be that all repairs must be approved in advance. If they approve, the insurer will pay.

I have never been a fan of extended warranties on RV's. Those companies leave themselves a LOT of loopholes to get out of paying your claim!


Even if they cover a particular repair, they may not agree to pay what the repair facility is charging. Guess who has to pay the difference!


Personally, I think most folks are better off putting the cost of the extended warranty into a special savings account and only using it for repairs. JMHO
