Hey guys my wive and I are just about to sign the papers on a 2011 Jayco Bunkhouse. I am considering buying an extened warranty. Does anyone have any advice on this subject? I am being quoted around $1650 for a seven year bumper to bumper. O by the way we are new here. My wife and I have 2 young children 10 and 8. We have owned a pop up for about 6 years and are now moving up. We are planning a big trip to Tennessee this July. We are very excited (I'm a little apperhensive at the same time). Hope to meet several of you guys out on the road.
Ken

Hi Ken. and congrats on your new rig.

I'm not familiar with extended warranties for trailers so will leave that to the experts but wanted to say howdy and welcome you!

Best of luck....

Rick

If you go for it, be sure it is both transferable and you can cash it out if you cancel.

From what I can gather from the postings on the forum, I would think that you would be better off taking your money and sticking it in the bank and saving it for when you need it for a repair.

Also remember that it's not really an extended warranty, but rather an insurance policy with LOTS of fine print. It's a huge profit maker for the dealers.

Thank you guys so much. I have decided not to go with the warranty at this time. After reading this and other forums I feel better about not buying.
Thanks again, see ya on the road.
Ken
