The devil of it is that in MA our F350 dually must be registered as commercial. So that requires a separate commercial account. We were not permitted to add the truck to our personal account as the commercial plate number was refused for our personal account. We were directed to open a commercial account in addition to our personal one. Then were obliged to add the trailer to the commercial account as it is pulled by the "commercial" truck.

Your F150 would be OK for a personal account here.

I have a NY EZ-PASS tag for my Class A. Charged for axels as I pass toll plaza. Have a separate tag for car (removed when I am pulling so as not charged). When I pull a small trailer with the car, charged by the axel. Believe that there is a discount when EZ-PASS is for RV. Also, before I bought a SUN-PASS for Florida, received a bill (with a surcharge for not having a SUN-PASS) two months after returning to LI.

Well, we received our EZ Pass devices for the truck alone and the truck with trailer. We ended up with the codes that the first person at the service center said we would need. You may remember that a kind woman from EZ Pass called us to question these codes and to assist us with our application.

The funny part about it is that we will never be using any of the toll roads closest to Boston as we cannot take the trailer with propane in the tanks through any of the tunnels. In former times we might have used the bridge to cross Boston but since the Big Dig many of the roads that were formerly elevated have now been taken down and replaced with tunnels.

We will be using EZ Pass for some other places.
