Guess I should add, both our FF's have wall mounted thermostats and speed controls, in fact both our DSDP's have been that way.

It is the Maxair Fanmate that the dealer has setup to be installed with the Fantastic Vent model 4000.

Will these work together?

Fantastic's customer service is second to none. Last year a friend had a problem with his in a 2000 model coach and they sent him all new parts for free and helped him install them over the phone. If the service stays the same a in years past, you will never have a repair bill with one of there fans. We have a model 6000 and DW loves it, it's installed in the kitchen and clears out the bacon smoke very well. When she forgets to turn it on we test the smoke alarm installed beside the fan.

Old thread but I'll take a chance. I have the foam filter made by MaxxAir on my Fan-Tastic Vent. It needs replacing. I can't find it on the net. Anyone know where I might find a replacement foam filter?

Also I think you'll find that FF customer service has changed since the company changed hands - no more free replacement parts.
