Last year I had noticed one of my electric motors not operating correctly in the roof vent of my Bounder. I took the assy. apart & found that the lid lifting motor had gotten wet & shorted out. So Next was to call up the folks @ Fantastic Fan & order a new motor as I was unable to match it locally. To my surprise they said they would send an updated motor assy. w/new lift arm etc.. free of charge ! Wow how cool is that. Ok, so I finally get around to finishing this little project & find there's still yet another problem. The lid will now power up fine, but not down. Hmmmm. So I took a look @ the circuit board & found the water/moisture gremlin got there too. Another shorted out part. Next step was to make another call & try to purchase a circuit board from the fine folks @ Fantastic Fan. I asked for service & got a gentlemen named Bob Beratta on the line. I explained the circuit board problem to him & he asked me a couple model # questions & if I was sitting down. I know these are expensive units & worth their weight in gold so I was a bit nervous. He said he was going to sent out the complete lower section of the fan assy. (everything but lid) FREE OF CHARGE. Hows that for customer service ! A rare find these days , but this my friends is a great example of American Pride. Thanks again to the folks @ Fantastic Fan (especially Bob) if you ever read this. Just thought Id pass this along to you RV guys & gals. Made my day ! Thanks--Don

Dang that sounds good. Sounds like the old days.

I have one on my Jayco and love it I will never be with out one.

I am having one problem with mine in that the lid will not power up all the way. It will only go up about 4 inches and stop. No big deal but it would be nice to having it work like it used to.

Fantastic Vent supported the 2007 iRV2.com National Rally by providing us with an Endless Breeze 12 volt portable fan.

We love Fantastic Vent!

They have always stood by their products. It would be great if more companies would do the same.

Just yestereday I called-in to Fantastic fan to inquire about my Fantastic Vent.

The temperature Auto/and the Manual motor speed conrol was not regulating the motor speed.

Within 5 minutes they had taken my address and were shipping me a new wall mount control panel.

Just Fantastic - pun intended!

Wow.

With so many companies ignoring customers with problems these days, it is good to hear about an outfit that stands behind their products and takes care of people after the sale.

well I could not figure out what was so fantastic about fantastic fan. Yes I can set
the wall thermostat and have it come on when
it gets too warm, but my thought was...what good
is that if I'm not home to open it. Come to find out from your post its supposed to have an
arm and motor to raise the lid. I did some research and found out mine is a cheaper model and doesn't have this feature. I'm getting an upgrade AND including the one with remote. That
would be FANTASTIC!!

I've driven the vehicle and pulled the RV for over 37 years. So now we bought this 1996 Pace Vision so I can drive the RV and pull my jeep. I have dealt with Fantastic on more than one occasion over the years. The plastic that holds the controls on this fan was crack from age. I called and ordered the parts to replace it. At the same time updating to the Fan with the Rain Sensor. Didn't really need the Remote, I can reach the controls easily. But I and the word is I, broke the Vent cover putting it back together. Called Fantastic to order and pay for a new Cover. Was told they are warranted for life. Sent to me N/C, I'm the 3rd owner and I broke it. What I really liked was I didn't have to remove the unit from the roof. Remove the Cover and Four screws from inside. The wiring was a little different. But Bob walked me through it in a couple minutes. I'm going to replace the noisy Bathroom vent with a basic Fantastic Fan. Have the switch on the wall already just want a quieter Fan.

I also had the opportunity to speak with Bob at Fantastic Fan. He provided me great (Fantastic?) trouble shooting instructions, and had also advised any parts I needed would be sent at no cost. I didn't need any parts, but I will always make sure it's a Fantastic Fan in every rig I ever own!!

Might as well add my experience. I bought a used Fantastic fan to replace the bathroom fan in my Lance truck camper. I needed the interior trim once it was installed. I called them and told them it was a used one I bought. Sent me trim Free of charge. I was really happy to see a Fantastic fan in the used 5vr we just bought.

Fantastic Fan is truly FANTASTIC! I too had the wall control/circuit board fail. I called them up and they immediately sent out a new one, no charge. They previously sent me two sets of new seals to replace sticky ones on the roof top covers, no charge. I wouldn't own anything else. I don't know another company with this kind of customer service and I highly recommend them to everyone.
