Take your watch off and sell it, you won't need it.
Hasn't worn mine in eight years. Don't miss it either.
You are free.

You can now tell people that your "work" is comprised of 6 Saturdays and a Sunday!

Four more work days and this ol' dog is 'off the leash'! Being conscientious, I am taking the time to print up some documentation on some of the tasks and problems I take care of each fiscal year change-over (July). I want to make it as easy as I can for my lady co-worker who will be tasked with my duties. She's a friend. She's already quite busy though, but finding a newbie who wants to learn mainframe stuff..... very difficult! We call ourselves 'dinosaur wranglers', keeping the ancient beast fed and groomed.
Ah well, come Tuesday morning it's no longer my worry!

I know how you feel. As of June 19th, I retired from my job at the middle school. For me, that doesn't make me completely retired, I also own a campground with my husband. I think of myself as half retired. Working April to October and retired November to March. That still gives us winters to travel in the RV. Life is great!

You'll be surprised how you won't know what day it is. We got one of these shortly after we retired.
Used to repair mainframes, don't miss that a bit!!!!

Sandee & I pulled the plug together last Nov 30th. OH YA!!!
You may find that in retirement you are more busy than before but you get to be busy doing what YOU want to do.
CONGRATS!
