Finally level?

Ugh. I tried for over an hour to get level. Blocks kept moving. Tried so many different things. I don't really have enough blocks to do it how I would like to.
Finally got level, but, not totally centered on the front passenger side tire. Seems stable enough, however, I'm slightly worried about tire damage. The tires are good (2016) and inflated about to suggested 80 lbs. and the rv is a 29 ft. Class c. Will only be here for 1 week and the tire is not in direct sunlight. Think it's ok to leave it like this or will it cause tire damage? Thanks in advance everyone.

If your riding the brake pedal and adding gas, to climb up on the blocks, the blocks will shift and slip on you often.

I found that if you set the parking brake partially, and keep your foot off the brake pedal, you can just use the gas to climb the blocks without them kicking out. The front tires are free to roll.

It looks like you have over half the tire supported, you should be fine.

Those plastic blocks are not really designed for soft dirt like that. I would find some actual wood blocks to put under them in the future if you are not going to be on a solid surface. I think you are good to go though for this round just make sure your emergency brake is set and you raise you stabilizers/leveling jacks before releasing it when it is time to go.

I used some 2x6 and made 2 ramps. Angle cut the ends 2 high with each flat part long enough for a tire to sit on. That way almost 2 inches on the first and almost 4 inches on the second. If need be I use both under one rear side to level and fully support the rear tires.

I would not leave it as shown in your photo...the outside sidewall of that tire is not supported properly and the inside sidewall is taking the load. That small wood block on top is barely touching 1/2 of the tread.
You don't have enough plastic blocks to create a proper ramp, that's why they are moving. Try using a 2x8 in conjunction with your blocks to have a more gradual rise.

The sidewall, the thinnest part of a tire, doesn't support the load, the air inside does. Thats pushing out in every direction.

Every tire company manual I've ever read says the entire width of the tread must be supported by the blocks, not just partially or half. Full width only.

Ramblingdan,
Who suggested you inflate the tires to 80 psi? Did they weight your coach at all 4 corners, then consult the tire chart for the correct psi?

Normal class C has 16" tires, if so, 80 psi is too much air. That is probably the maximum for the tire when fully loaded.y

We've used the plastic blocks as well, and Polyian said above, you don't have enough. There's too tall a step to get up to the second level. We stacked ours as below, and they worked fine. Of course, it takes 10 to get four levels high.

The blocks we used had a little tab on one end that worked as a little ramp. We just stuck them to the side on the center blocks.

For soft surfaces we carried some wood to place under them to keep them from sinking.

And I wouldn't personally be comfortable with it sitting half off like that. Maybe it's OK, but I'd fix it.

Mine on the door from FR says 75 psi front and 80 psi for all 4 rear tires.

The placard tire pressure is the RV manufactures recommendation for when you are at GVWR, are you? For tire pressure, do you think the RV manufacturer knows better than the tire manufacturer?
