Question Finding music acts playing near campground

When you're traveling around, how do you locate music acts that might be playing near where you'll be camping? Some big cities have their own little "newspaper" showing who's playing where and when. Is there anything like that online for campers?

I would suggest going to any nearby activity center such as a small store and asking around.i am usually staying in sparsely populated areas so there are typically no local newspapers. Just ask around with the locals.

I'm not sure what type of music you like - or where you like to travel. But if music and camping are what you are looking for check Renfro Valley in Kentucky. Their website is Renfro Valley Entertainment Center - Kentucky's Country Music Capital Live Concerts Gretchen Wilson was just there on the 9th. They will have a special Christmas program. All the details are on their website. They have lodging, a restaurant AND an RV park! Nothing spectacular. But it's a pretty setting. And if it's the type of music you like, the music venue is but a walk away. Easy access right off of I-75. Nothing much else around. For a WalMart, you'll need to go south to Corbin or to one of the other local towns.
Enjoy!

I look online for entertainment in the area. The city and chamber of commerce will list most activities.
