First outing in the Storm

Heading to Cross Creek park near Alum in Ohio this weekend. Kind of a shake down trip for the new Storm and will have a birthday party with my grand daughter on Sunday in Westerville.

Anyone else planning to be there this weekend?

That's a nice campground, less than 10 miles from me. If we hadn't already winterized (& have other plans for this wknd), I'd stop by to say HI. Enjoy - bundle up - it's supposed to spit snow Saturday. It won't accumulate, but still it's the "four letter word".

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Yes the great white death may hit Ohio this weekend. We will be dry camping as we have also winterized. We have basement heat but I am not quite ready to try that out yet. We would probably be fine with the temps only forecast for mid 20's.

For eats, if you want something local, head west on 36/37 to Corner Cafe towards Delaware. It's on the right, just past Oakland Nursery & across from Delaware Lanes Bowling. Not much to look at, but it's got good food at good prices.

There's a whole bunch of fast food/commercial restaurants at the intersection of I-71 & 36/37 exit. Cracker Barrel is the best of the bunch.
